The Role
Iantrek is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to serve as the company’s first dedicated in-house legal leader. This is a highly visible, hands-on role responsible for executing the legal function across a broad range of disciplines, including commercial, regulatory, compliance, corporate governance, and employment matters.

The Role
Iantrek is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to serve as the company’s first dedicated in-house legal leader. This is a highly visible, hands-on role responsible for executing the legal function across a broad range of disciplines, including commercial, regulatory, compliance, corporate governance, and employment matters.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary legal advisor to organization on all legal, regulatory, and compliance matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including:
- Commercial and sales agreements (customers, distributors, GPOs)
- Vendor and supply agreements
- Clinical trial agreements and investigator contracts
- Provide legal guidance on FDA regulatory matters, promotional review, and interactions with healthcare professionals in a medical device environment
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Clinical teams to support compliant commercialization strategies
- Establish and oversee compliance frameworks, including healthcare compliance, anti-kickback, fraud and abuse, and HIPAA considerations
- Support corporate governance activities, including Board materials, investor communications, and strategic transactions
- Advise on employment-related matters in partnership with HR, including policies, investigations, and risk mitigation
- Track and manage federal, state, and local compliance filings
- Partner with finance for risk mitigation strategies and insurance coverage
- Support intellectual property strategy in coordination with external counsel
- Manage external legal counsel efficiently, ensuring high-quality support and cost discipline
- Build scalable legal processes, templates, and policies to support company growth
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing
- 12+ years of legal experience, including a combination of law firm and in-house experience preferred
- Prior experience in medical device, biotech, and/or pharmaceutical industries required
- Strong working knowledge of FDA regulations, healthcare compliance, and commercial contracting
- Experience supporting high-growth or venture-backed companies strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a generalist across multiple legal disciplines
- Strong business judgment with the ability to balance risk and speed in decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
